Apple Sneak Peak at Leopard OS

Oh, my, god! Interesting things afoot at Apple. They put up some sneak peak stuff for Leopard and I am very impressed with a few additions. The first and foremost in my mind is the FIRST WYSIWYG Wiki I have seen, an iCal Server and much-much more. Very cool, and just re-affirms my belief that much of the internet is going the way that postscript went... hand code, to done in the background of many applications, and now html and browsers ae going to be just a vehicle to the process of other applications, seemlessly in the background.

google is doing it again...

Very kewl little new web based service called wikimapia.org - describing an area on the google word map based system used for the googlemap API.

google is doing some intersting things too...

been kinda interested in Google because of its unusual corporate environment that promotes private or personal projects. from the acquisition of youTube, and Blogger, there is a move to make this part of the Google family. you should check out: Google Products & Services. it is pretty interesting watching the largest of the bunch... hope they don't fall into the ol' microsoft "more features bloating the appliction beyond practical general uses" trap.
